Shipping, Payment & Lead Times

How JIA CHENG moves genuine forklifts and OE parts from Hong Kong to overseas B2B buyers in Africa, Russia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Incoterms, logistics modes, packaging standards, payment methods, and typical lead time cycles — all in one place.

Three Export Supply Modes

Supply modes chosen per inquiry based on urgency, order size, and destination.

  • 01

    Regional Inventory Support

Urgent breakdown and service parts. We pull from regional inventory for fast availability confirmation. Typical cycle: 1–7 days before dispatch.

  • 02

    Scheduled Bulk Orders

Planned replacement and preventive maintenance cycles. 15–30 day normal cycles for distributor replenishment. 45+ day scheduled bulk cycles for workshops and fleet operators with predictable demand.

  • 03

    Direct Loading Service

Sealed container direct shipment with professional heavy-duty export packaging. Every container is cross-checked against the inquiry, loaded, sealed, and dispatched directly — no transit warehouse handling.

Incoterms Supported

JIA CHENG works with the four most common Incoterms used in overseas B2B forklift parts export. Please indicate your preference in the inquiry so we can prepare the quote accordingly. If you are unsure, our team will advise based on destination country, quantity, and logistics preference.

  • EXW (Ex Works, Hong Kong) — you arrange pickup and handle all export formalities from our end. Lowest quoted price, highest buyer responsibility. Suitable for experienced importers with their own freight forwarder in Hong Kong.
  • FOB (Free on Board, Hong Kong / Shenzhen) — we handle export formalities and deliver to the port, loaded on your nominated vessel. You handle ocean freight and import. Most common choice for overseas B2B parts buyers.
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight — destination port) — we handle export, ocean freight, and basic cargo insurance to your destination port. You handle import formalities and inland delivery. Common choice for Africa and Middle East buyers without their own freight forwarder.
  • DDP (Delivered Duty Paid — destination address) — we handle export, freight, insurance, import duties, and inland delivery to your address. Highest quoted price, lowest buyer responsibility. Available for selected destinations — please ask.

Packaging Standards

Forklift OE parts shipped to overseas B2B buyers — especially on long-haul Africa routes — need packaging that survives:

  • Long ocean freight transit (up to 45+ days door-to-door for West Africa routes).
  • Rough road handling at destination inland logistics.
  • Multiple transshipment through regional hub ports.
  • Tropical and coastal humidity exposure.

Our default packaging for export orders includes:

  • Professional heavy-duty cartons or wooden crates depending on part weight and fragility.
  • Anti-corrosion wrapping for metal parts, seals, and precision components.
  • Foam or honeycomb inserts for hydraulic valves, cylinders, and electrical modules.
  • Reinforced outer containers for mast chains, brake assemblies, engine blocks.
  • Sealed container direct loading for FCL orders — every container is cross-checked against the inquiry list, loaded, sealed, and dispatched directly to reduce in-transit tampering risk.
  • Clear outer labeling with destination, buyer reference, and handling instructions.

Packaging specifications are adjusted per destination — buyers in Africa and the Middle East typically get heavier reinforced packaging than Southeast Asia or CIS shipments.

Payment Methods

JIA CHENG supports the payment methods commonly used in overseas B2B forklift parts trade. Specific terms are confirmed per order based on quantity, Incoterm, and customer relationship.

  • Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) — the standard method for most overseas B2B parts orders. Common structure: 30% deposit on order confirmation, 70% balance before shipment. Lower percentages are possible for repeat customers with established history.
  • Letter of Credit (L/C) — supported for larger orders (typically FCL or multi-container shipments). Sight L/C preferred. Please confirm L/C terms with our team before issuing.
  • Flexible documentation for Russia and CIS buyers — we support flexible billing and documentation arrangements to match local import requirements. Please discuss specific needs at inquiry stage.

We do not currently accept credit card, PayPal, or online consumer payment methods — our workflow is designed for B2B wire-based settlement, not retail transactions.

Typical Lead Times

Lead times depend heavily on part availability, order size, logistics mode, and destination. The cycles below are typical ranges — exact timing is confirmed per inquiry.

  • Rush (1–2 days confirmation) — regional inventory parts, urgent breakdown replacement. Availability confirmation within 1–2 working days; dispatch depends on logistics mode.
  • Normal (3–7 days) — standard replacement parts. Confirmation and preparation within the week.
  • Bulk (15–30 days) — scheduled replacement batches for workshops and distributors. Combined sourcing, quality check, and packaging cycle.
  • Scheduled Bulk (45+ days) — planned orders with customer-agreed delivery window. Typical for large maintenance programs or project-based supply.

Ocean freight transit time is additional and depends on the destination:

  • East Africa (Mombasa, Dar es Salaam): typical 30–40 days ocean transit.
  • West Africa (Lagos, Tema, Abidjan): typical 35–45 days ocean transit.
  • Russia (St. Petersburg, Vladivostok): variable based on routing; please confirm at inquiry.
  • Southeast Asia (Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Jakarta): typical 5–12 days ocean transit.
  • Middle East (Jebel Ali, Dammam): typical 12–20 days ocean transit.

These are indicative ranges based on normal shipping conditions. Peak season, port congestion, and carrier schedules can extend transit time.

First Order Process — What to Expect

If this is your first order with JIA CHENG, here is exactly how the process works from first inquiry to delivered shipment. Knowing the steps in advance helps you plan your procurement window and reduces the number of back-and-forth messages.

Step 1 — Inquiry submission. You send us the forklift model, serial number, engine model, OE references, quantity, destination country, and logistics preference via the inquiry form or WhatsApp. If you have a parts list in Excel format, attach it directly — we handle .xlsx, .xls, and .csv.

Step 2 — OE confirmation and clarification. Our team cross-checks every line in your inquiry against the forklift model and engine model. If any reference is ambiguous or superseded, we come back with clarification questions before quoting. This is the step that prevents mismatched orders, so we take the time to do it properly.

Step 3 — Proforma invoice. Once the parts list is confirmed, we issue a proforma invoice showing unit prices, total, Incoterm, packaging, and lead time. The proforma is valid for 15 working days by default — longer on request for scheduled bulk orders.

Step 4 — Deposit and order confirmation. On typical first orders, a 30% telegraphic transfer (T/T) deposit confirms the order. For larger orders, Letter of Credit (L/C) terms can be arranged. For repeat customers with established history, lower deposits are possible.

Step 5 — Sourcing, quality check, and packaging. We source the confirmed parts, run an incoming quality check against the OE reference, and package in professional heavy-duty export packaging suited to the destination route. For Africa-bound orders, reinforced packaging and anti-corrosion wrapping are standard.

Step 6 — Balance payment and pre-shipment confirmation. Before dispatch, we confirm the packing list and photos of the packed cargo with you. The 70% balance T/T is settled at this point, against shipping documents.

Step 7 — Dispatch and documentation. For FCL orders, direct loading and container sealing is handled at our end. Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and bill of lading are prepared and shared. For CIF orders, cargo insurance is arranged before departure.

Step 8 — In-transit updates and arrival. We share the bill of lading and tracking information, and check in on key transit milestones. On arrival at your destination port, clearance is handled per the agreed Incoterm.

First-order risk mitigation: if you are unsure about committing to a full order, ask us about starting with an LCL test order covering a small subset of your parts list. This lets you verify packaging, documentation, delivery timing, and OE matching quality before committing to a larger FCL shipment. Most experienced overseas B2B buyers use this approach for a first engagement with a new supplier.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping, payment, Incoterms, packaging, and lead time questions from overseas B2B buyers.

01

Which Incoterms does JIA CHENG support?

EXW, FOB, CIF, and DDP. FOB and CIF are the most common choices for overseas B2B forklift parts buyers. Please indicate your preference in the inquiry, or ask us to recommend based on destination country and order size.
02

What payment methods are accepted for overseas B2B orders?

Telegraphic Transfer (T/T) is the standard method, typically with a 30% deposit on order confirmation and 70% balance before shipment. Letter of Credit (L/C) is supported for larger FCL or multi-container orders. Flexible billing and documentation arrangements are available for Russia and CIS buyers. We do not accept credit card, PayPal, or consumer retail payment methods.
03

Does JIA CHENG support LCL and FCL shipments?

Yes, both. LCL (Less than Container Load) is used for smaller replacement lots typical of Southeast Asia and urgent service orders. FCL (Full Container Load, 20ft or 40ft) is used for scheduled bulk orders and is delivered via Sealed Container Direct Shipment to reduce in-transit tampering risk on long-haul routes.
04

How does JIA CHENG protect parts during long-haul ocean freight to Africa?

Every order is verified against the OE reference before loading, then packaged in professional heavy-duty export packaging with anti-corrosion wrapping, foam or honeycomb inserts for precision components, and reinforced outer containers. FCL orders are dispatched via sealed container direct shipment — the container is cross-checked, loaded, sealed, and dispatched without transit warehouse handling. This is the standard for West and East Africa routes where in-transit damage and tampering are recurring risks.
05

Can JIA CHENG handle customs documentation for my destination country?

We prepare the standard commercial documentation needed for export from Hong Kong: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading. Destination-side customs clearance is typically handled by the buyer's local broker under FOB and CIF terms. Under DDP, we handle import formalities and inland delivery for selected destinations — please ask at inquiry stage.
06

What are typical lead times for rush and scheduled bulk orders?

Rush confirmation is 1–2 working days, normal is 3–7 days, bulk is 15–30 days, and scheduled bulk is 45+ days. Ocean freight transit time is additional: typical 5–12 days to Southeast Asia, 12–20 days to Middle East, 30–40 days to East Africa, and 35–45 days to West Africa. Exact timing is confirmed per inquiry based on port and carrier.
